Conservatives across the Washington, D.C. area are invited to attend our upcoming Conservative Network Event featuring Becky Norton Dunlop on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Clare Boothe Luce Center for Conservative Women, 112 Elden Street, Suite P, in Herndon, Virginia.
Event Details
Becky Norton Dunlop is a respected leader and strategist in the conservative movement, with decades of experience in government, campaigns, and policy. She serves on several boards, including the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, the Reagan Ranch Board of Governors, the Reagan Alumni Association, and the Association for American Educators.
She joined The Heritage Foundation in 1998 as vice president and later became the Ronald Reagan Distinguished Fellow, succeeding former Attorney General Ed Meese. A veteran of the Reagan administration, Dunlop held senior roles in the White House, Justice Department, and Interior Department from 1981 to 1989, and later served as Secretary of Natural Resources for Virginia under Governor George Allen. Her book Clearing the Air chronicles her work advancing free-market environmental principles.
Earlier, as political director for the American Conservative Union, she helped organize grassroots activists for Reagan’s 1976 campaign and was a founding staff member of CPAC. In 2002, President George W. Bush appointed her chairwoman of the Federal Service Impasses Panel.
A sought-after speaker and member of the Federalist Society’s Speakers’ Bureau, Dunlop frequently addresses topics such as conservative principles, environmental policy, and the intersection of faith and politics. She is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio and lives in Wythe County, Virginia, with her husband, George S. Dunlop.
