Campus Speakers

By partnering with the Luce Center to host a campus speaker, college women gain invaluable leadership experience while exposing their peers to conservative ideas rarely taught in the classroom.

Lead the Conversation. Shape the Culture.

Our campus speakers program empowers young women to bring bold, conservative voices to campuses where conservative ideas are too often ignored, mocked, or misrepresented.By hosting conservative speakers, our young women don’t just start conversations—they take a bold stand for truth, freedom, and honest debate. Every event gives young women hands-on leadership experience in event planning, promotion, and execution, as well as recruiting and public speaking. By taking on these responsibilities, young women develop tangible skills and grow in confidence. Most importantly, they become part of our growing network of conservative women who are reshaping the culture, demonstrating that conservative ideas belong at the heart of American life.

Bold Voices. Brave Leaders. Real Impact.

Scenes from UC-Berkeley, University of Florida, and other campuses across the country

"So many girls at Biola were excited to have someone talk about 'Why Modern-Day Feminism is Anti-Woman.' I learned that students and faculty really appreciate when students speak up against leftist ideology. It can be daunting to champion an unpopular opinion on a college campus, but the Luce Center taught me to be courageous with my beliefs."

FAQs

Have questions? Start here—and feel free to reach out if there’s something we haven’t covered.

Will the Luce Center provide funding for my campus speaker?

Yes. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the Luce Center covers speaker honoraria and travel expenses for several campus events every semester. We’re also happy to work with students to help them apply student activities funds toward events. Our goal is to provide meaningful leadership opportunities for our young women and help them introduce their peers to conservative ideas that are too often ignored, mocked, or misrepresented on campus.

I am not part of a campus group. May I host a speaker?

Yes. We encourage students to ask professors and other school faculty to assist with hosting a speaker in their classroom or at another event.

I am a faculty member at a university. May I host a speaker in my classroom?

Yes! We have a long and successful track record of partnering with faculty at colleges and universities across the country to bring thoughtful, principled conservative voices into the classroom. Whether you're looking to enrich a lecture, spark discussion, or offer students a broader perspective, we’re here to help.

As one professor at UC-Berkeley shared, “Your help in bringing conservative speakers to Berkeley really makes my class what it is—the only place at the university where different perspectives are heard.”

We’d be honored to support you in creating a similarly vibrant learning environment at your campus.

Which speakers may I bring to campus?

We work with a dynamic network of accomplished conservative women—from policy experts to cultural commentators—who speak on today’s most important issues. We’ll collaborate with you to select a speaker who best fits your goals. Recent speakers include Abby Johnson, Paula Scanlan, Elisha Krauss, and KT McFarland.

What is the typical format of a Luce Lecture?

Speakers typically give 30-minute remarks and take questions for about 15 minutes. However, we are happy to discuss formats that best fit your event.

Does the Center help in coordinating campus speaking events?

Yes. A member of our team will guide you through the entire planning process—from speaker selection to event logistics. We’re happy to coordinate with your fellow students, faculty, or campus administrators to ensure a smooth and successful event.
